I'm a long time UESer and I love our vendors. I love the book people (and I miss the great old guy who sold used paperbacks bet. Lex and Third), the food vendors (esp. the fruit/veg guys, who I depend on), even the scarf guys (one year I bought a bunch of the Russian-style imported pashminas as gifts). I would be disappointed if too many of them get pushed out of the neighborhood.
